Leah Powell Retirement

Today marked a significant day in the life of the Worship Ministries at Scottsdale Bible. We said goodbye to the hub of our team’s wheel, Leah Powell. After serving 27 remarkable years in faithful ministry, she decided it was time to step down and focus more attention on the growing family business. I step out into a wicked world, I carry about with me an evil heart, I know that without Thee I can do nothing, that everything with which I shall be concerned, however harmless in itself, may prove an occasion of sin or folly, unless I am kept by Thy power.

Growing Up

There is something new coming my way this week. Something I've never experienced before as a parent...being the dad of a teenager. Wow, is it really happening? I thought Wendy and I just brought her home from Magee Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA. Brooklyn turns 13 on Wednesday.
